I am having a hard time finding a good school to go to for a BA in computer science. I have already acquired an associates in computer programming from ITT Tech but they don’t offer BA’s in programming. So i was wondering whats the best place to go that has a good Computer Science program?

This is an easy one, my friend (and I’m from Minnesota, so it pains me a bit to say this, but…)

Michigan State University! They have an excellent program, top notch staff, and a campus that is very diverse.

Oh, and if a bachelors degree isn’t enough for you, they have a graduate level program that you can get into when you’re done with your undergrad work.

BTW – The University of Minnesota – Twin Cities has a great computer science program, too! :)

I would like to add University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, they have a great engineering/CS department. I’m from California and I’ve heard good things about UMich from professors.

Michigan Tech way up north would be the best choice as far as that goes.

Then it would be either U of M or MSU.

Next would be Western Michigan University (they just built a really nice and new engineering school which is where the CS majors are).

Then next would probably be Central Michigan University and so on.

There also some private schools who probably have some good programs, but I’m not very aware of any.
