What are some good online colleges for obtaining a degree in Computer Science?

Should I try to find a school that is relatively local to me? I live in Virginia.
How do you know if the online school you’re applying to is accredited or not?

Try Boston University http://www.bu.edu (i think it’s Metropolitan College).
I think Nova University in Florida also has a program for online study.
the only good online college i hear about is university of phoenix……but DONT DO PENN FOSTER..U BETTER OFF GETTING A DEGREE OF A CEREAL BOX!
University of Phoenix. They are Nationally accredited and Regionally accredited.
When you talk to your enrollment adviser, ask them to send you papers that tell you this information. They will be happy to do so.
Also University of Phoenix is not only rated number one they have 10 months years, which means you will get you diploma faster!
