This school is funded by the government and it assist Achiase community. This placement needs the volunteers because to Change in knowledge(different ideas) need volunteers to help in KG-JSS3 need volunteers because too many students than teachers .

Volunteers must be of age 18 or above with minimum education of high school. This placement does not need any volunteers in the month of Apr and Aug. Volunteers with the following special skills are preferred for the placement:-

Child & Youth Worker Early Childhood Education Recreational Programming Day Care Work Report Writing / Data Collection General Administration Teacher – English Teacher – Math Teacher – Science Teacher – Geography Teacher – Environmental Science Teacher – Physical Education Computers – MS Office Software Carpenter Framer Drywall Mason General Labour Football (American) Soccer Rugby Tennis Basketball Educational Games Guitar Drums Other Musical Instruments Teacher – Social Science Hiking

 Volunteers can assist by doing following tasks:-

1)help in library, 2)help teach any class from KG-JSS3, 3)help with coaching, 4)help with literacy program in library Construction work-help to fix buildings, roofs, desks, flooring. Help construct tennis court and restroom for teachers and children.

Location description

Kumasi is the second largest city in Ghana, and the capital of the Ashanti Region.Achiase is about 45 mins drive from Kumasi. The city is buzzing 24 hours a day, and is home to the large Kejetia Market.

Traditional Ashanti pride is much more prominant in this area, and volunteers are likely to see more cultural dress and practices during their stay. Kumasi is a hub for travellors planning on going in any direction in Ghana, and has good transportation (bus or tro-tro) to all major cities.
