This game was developed during my final year of a Computer Science degree at Durham University. Developed using the jmonkeyengine, implemented in Java, this game demonstrates the power of jme. Although far from complete due to the limited production time available, the game still includes many features of jme. More videos of Super Fast Racers can be found on my website at www.markcorbyn.com Thanks!
What was the computer science course like at Durham?
thats something i want to make but with online support and customization with an auction house like forza 2 (on the xbox 360)
OMG I WANNA PLAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
cool !
Very NC
Nice!
look on their website man,
hey
does anyone know if there are any video tutorials showing how to set up jme?
thanks
looks like a ka from the back! nice program
Yea, instead of doing something productive you can always watch tv instead, right? Where do you think racing games come from? Those people that develop the “proper” racing games all started like that.
I will learn jmonkey
No way – almost all dev time on a game is spent creating content assets.
If it’s the engine doing all the work, what have you really created then, because making the engine is where all the work is.
Nice work!
Erm… the point isnt about how amazing the game is. The point is that I am an amateur programmer and even I managed to produce a game in jME to this standard. This shows how powerful the jMonkeyEngine is
how crap why dont u get a proper racing game
