I am planning to take Computer Science courses and would like to get a head-start?

I’m going to college and major in Computer Science.
I would like to get a head start before going in.
Any books or subject recommendations?

java concepts was the book i used. everythng that java can do is in it. my dad owns an IT company and i failed the intro class lol.

from what ive heard computer science deals with a lot of java but im not sure on this. right now im 17 and still in high school but im taking a computer programming course that involves visual basic and Im sure this will help to get me prepared for computer science so you could try that route its a 6 month course that you can take online thats what im doing its connected to ashworth university so you can try this if you want.

I think that Im also going to take a java course as well.
