how good is Columbia University’s computer science school for grad ?

i ve seen the rankings and i was wondering if its really all that good. i know its ivy league and everything but i was just wondering how good it was for computer science.
If you can get in an ivy league college, do it. Having that on your resume will open many doors that would never be open to you otherwise.
As far as learning goes, the learning software that is available makes it possible to learn anything you can at a university all on your own, if you are truly interested in learning.
Anything you learned at Columbia or any other university would simply be a good start.
