Jadavpur University, a prominent name in Education Institutions in India and is eminent for its Education procedure or criteria. This University is not only UGC granted but also attributed with Five-Star status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

It has two campuses or branches in Kolkata. The main campus is about 58 acres and located at 188 Raja S.C. Mallik Road, Kolkata – 700 032.

The second one is of 26 acres and is to be found at Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700091.

There are four Educational Institutions come under Jadavpur University. They are Jadavpur Vidyapith College of Education, Shrimati J. D. Birla Institute and the Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Institute of Business Management conducted by the National Council of Education. These all is affiliated under this Universty.
